The Vosges mountain in North-East France are hiding some wonderful hiking trails. Let us tell you all about our favourite routes and other must do’s in this wonderful part of France.

The Prestholt trail is a gorgeous hike up stone steps laid with help from Nepalese sherpas. It promises a steep ascent and scenic views, while still being manageable in 2-3 hours.

In august 2024, our summer adventure lead us to the Norwegian lakes Femund and Isteren, for a 5-day adventure with strong headwinds and beautiful beaches.

Wild camping legally in Europe has become almost impossible. In 2023, we discovered the opportunity to do this in the Eifel region of Germany camping on a wooden platform in the middle of the forest.

If you plan on going to Norway, and buy any tourist guide (really doesn’t matter which one) there is one recommendation they will all include: hiking up to Preikestolen or ‘Pulpit Rock’.

In July 2023, we took a 3-week trip to Norway by car and ferry. Norway only showed up on our radar due to a trip to Finland earlier this year.
