Our Photography Gear

We love to take pictures everywhere we go. Here you can read more about the camera we use and which accessoriries we’re happy with.

FUJIFILM X-T3

The X-T3 is an older model of Fujifilm, which we bought for our trip to Norway in 2023. We were looking for a camera which was weather resistent, as Norway is famous for the unpredictable weather. Fujifilm and part of the internet claims the camera’s would hold up fine in the rain and snow, which makes them ideal. Furthermore, we are fans of the Fuji color science, eliminating the need for rigorous editing. We’ve got three lenses that we pair with this camera: one zoom lens and two prime lenses.

FUJINON XF16-80mm F4 R OIS WR

Versatile lens that we take when we can only bring one. It is weather resistent and has a wide range (24mm to 120mm FF equivalent). Downsides are the weight and size, which makes the lens less fitting for bringing along during trailruns or fastpacks.

FUJINON XF35mm F2 R WR

The 35mm (52.5mm FF eq.) is way smaller and lighter compared to the 16-80 lens. This makes it easier to bring with us when we want a lighter setup.

FUJIFILM X-T30

The X-T30 is an older model of Fujifilm as well, which we bought in 2024 as a backup camera. We have paired it with the Fujifilm 27mm F2.8 WR pancake lens, to create a small and lightweight camera that we can bring anywhere.

Camera accessoiries

Leofoto LS-224C + LH25 Ranger

Light tripod that is still high enough for standing photos. Also, it doesn’t break the bank. Fits in a water bottle pocket of a backpack or can even be stowed inside one if you have a larger backpack.

Leofoto MT-03 + MBH-19

Weighs a bit more than the plastic cheaper ones, but is super sturdy and versatile. The legs can be adjusted to suit different terrains and the feet have rubber ends to stick to any surface.
